Opera Index 2009 Vocal Competition Application

Opera Index, Inc. is a tax exempt corporation whose mission is to assist young singers at the early stages of their careers with cash awards totaling $39,000.

The Major Awards are: $10,000; $7,500; $5,000; $4,000, $3,000 Encouragement Awards are $1,000 each

Preliminary Auditions:
Monday, October 12, 2009 & Tuesday, October 13, 2009
10:00 AM and 4:30 PM

Finals will held on:
Thursday, October 15, 2009
10:00 AM to 4:30 PM

All Auditions and Finals will be held at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Music Center 129 West 67th Street, New York City

Applicants must not be older than 35 at the time of the first audition and be referred by music professionals
